Copenhagen Film Fund and Copenhagen TV Festival are proud to present co-creator and screenwriter Richard Price, who created the crime-series "The Night Of" that premiered on HBO in 2016.

Richard Price is a recognized author of books and tv-series. He also took part in writing for the "The Wire", which with its subtle conversations between the fascinating characters became cult. Newest is the HBO-crime "The Night Of" - and if there will be a season two, will Richard Orice maybe reveal at the festival.

"The Night Of" begins with Nasir Nazi Khan, a young Muslim, who is accused for the murder of a young woman on Manhattan's Upper West Side. In fact he wakes up with hangovers after partying with the beautiful girl. There she lies beside him; murdered. Naz gets scared and runs, but is taken with the murder-weapon in his jacket. And then the lawsuit begins.
Naz's special attorney Jack Stone is excellently played by John Turturro - and then there is only one question left; Is Naz cold-blooded killer or innocent?
